Sanuk (meaning ‘funk and happiness’ in the Thai language) began back in 1997, when founder Jeff Kelley began creating sandals out of raw materials collected around his house. This burst of creativity, coupled with an uncanny ability to forge practical items out of everyday elements, saw the company develop a host of wildly popular footwear designs that were eagerly snapped up by the masses. Based out of California, Sanuk now distributes its range of highly innovative styles of sandals, thongs and shoes to countries around the world.
